Dr. Greaney received his M.Eng. in Metallurgy, Materials Science, and Engineering from the University of Oxford in 1998 and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003. Prior to joining the faculty at OSU, Dr. Greaney conducted postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley, focusing on NEMS devices, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he worked on nanoscale thermal transport.

Theory and simulation of materials, particularly thermo-mechanical properties of nanostructured materials, growth and assembly of materials
