Mobile fenceless grazing systems are emerging as potential technology for significantly easing and simplifying the management of grazing animals. They use collars (small devices), often placed on animals’ necks, to stop animals from leaving the area set for grazing by emitting warning signals (e.g., audio/sound, electrical stimulus, etc.) when the animal approaches the boundary of the set area. The objective of this project is to design, deploy and test an integrated virtual fencing management system.
