Dr. Peyman Samimi received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from University of North Texas (UNT). He has worked on a variety of material systems including both non-ferrous and ferrous alloys with emphasize on microstructural analysis. During his time at OSU as a postdoc research associate, his research activities was focused on development of novel Fe-based oxide dispersion strengthened alloys for high-temperature applications and microstructural characterization of selective laser melted 304 stainless steel.
