March 2020: Greg Nigon has successfully defended his MS thesis on Selective Laser Melting of Duplex Stainless Steels 2205 for Sea Water Applications.

Dr. Pasebani received a grant of $486,220 from NSF on “Nanoparticle Dispersion Mechanisms in Additively Manufactured Metal-matrix Composites and Functionally-graded Materials”. Dr. Joshua Gess is a co-PI on this grant.

May 30, 2019: Dr. Pasebani had dinner with Oregon State University Board of Trustees and President Ed Ray in ATAMI and gave an overview of her research. 

May 18, 2019: A paper on "Production of corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel clads on carbon steel using powder bed fusion-selective laser melting", coauthored by Dr. Pasebani is published in Journal of Materials Processing Technology 273 (2018) 116243.

March 18, 2019: Hannah Coe defended her MS thesis in Mechanical Engineering with Advanced Manufacturing Option. In April, she will start her job at Boeing, Seattle!
