Research in Greg Herman's Group at Oregon State University focuses on the development and characterization of novel materials for nanopatterning, catalysis, and device applications, the advancement of sustainable technologies for the production of materials, energy, and water resources, and the enhancement of biological sensors for improved health and wellbeing. We are a multidisciplinary group consisting of students enrolled in the School of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering and the Materials Science Program. We collaborate with academic, industrial, and national laboratory partners to advance emerging technologies and train the next generation of scientists and engineers.
