Aaron is in his final year of study toward a BSc in Industrial Engineering at Oregon State University. He is conducting research on an aspect of undergraduate life in which he has been actively involved: Leadershing of Engineering and Greek Student Organizations. Specifically, Aaron is applying Bass and Avolio's leadership questionnaire to a study of leadership traits in student teams. The goal is to identify leadership traits that improve success in each organization and to develop best practice based recommendations to streamline leadership development and recruitment in Engineering student organizations.

Aaron presented his work at the 2014 Industrial and Systems Research Conference in Montreal, Canada. His work will, more broadly, provide leaders of not-for-profit organizations with information about the leadership traits that most strongly correlate to successfulÂ
