Shahana Ibrahim is presenting her NeuriPS paper "Crowdsourcing via Pairwise Co-occurrences: Identifiability and Algorithms" at the Vancouver Convention Center. Co-authors: Xiao Fu (OSU), Nikos Kargas (University of Minnesota), and Kejun Huang (University of Florida).
Our paper "On Convergence of Projected Gradient Descent for Minimizing a Large-scale Quadratic over the Unit Sphere" won the Student Paper Award (2nd place) at the IEEE International Workshop on MACHINE LEARNING FOR SIGNAL PROCESSING (MLSP), October 13-16, 2019 Pittsburgh, PA, USA. There were 4 Student Paper Awards out of 100 papers presented at the conference.
