This site is an evolution of the old wiki to hold technical information related to the work of the Nearshore Remote Sensing Group under the direction of Dr. Merrick Haller.

This site covers theoretical and operational principles of X-band marine radar and how it may be used for imaging the surface of the ocean, as well as technical details on data acquisition hardware and software. Additional detail may be included on using aerial drones for optical remote sensing.
