Eric is developing the firmware for a FPGA-based high-performance 8-channel digital pulse processor (DPP) as part of a larger temporal gamma-ray spectroscopy project. The DPP will allow the process of estimating the fissile content of a SNM sample to be performed in real-time. His general research interest is the development of radiation measurement instrumentation and systems for national security, verification, non-proliferation, and emergency response applications.

Abdulsalam is studying proximity charge sensing in CZT detectors. Proximity charge sensing will be used to determine the amount of energy deposited and interaction location inside a CZT detector. Abdulsalam's research interest include the development of scintillation and solid state detections systems.

Steven is developing an atmospheric radioxenon detection system for use by the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization to remotely identify clandestine underground nuclear tests. The system will utilize state of the art materials and techniques, such as CZT, SiPMs, and beta-gamma coincidence. His general research interest is in the development of novel detection systems for the characterization of radioactive material, as well as the design and simulation of detectors capable of locating and identifying unknown radiation sources.

Harish is developing gas cells and holders for CZT crystals used in radioxenon detection systems for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization. Models are designed using solidworks and are printed at the 3D printing facility at Oregon State University. General research interests include nuclear nonproliferation, radioxenon monitoring and radiation detection systems.

Mitch is developing a method to analyze temporal spectra to identify special nuclear material. This method will utilize a digital pulse processor to make identifications in live time. His general research interests include development of detection systems for national security, non-proliferation, and nuclear forensics.
