Research groups receives new NSF award to develop survey instruments to measure student engagement.

NSF has awarded OSU an $800k award to study how students are socially and cognitively engaged with a course. This project is in partnership with Denise Simmons from Virginia Tech and Olusola Adesope from Washington State University.

Research group receives new NSF grant to study eye tracking and cognition.

This is a collaborative project with my colleague David Hurwitz. We will study cognition and eye tracking in transportation and water resources engineering.
