Milad Ghayoor is a Ph.D. student in Material Science with particular interests in additive manufacturing, welding, and advanced material characterizations. Prior to joining OSU in January 2017, he worked for three years in industry as a welding specialist. He holds a Master's degree in Metallurgy and Material Science from the University of Tehran and a B.S. degree in Metallurgy from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. His research is focused on using of selective laser melting (SLM), as one of the additive manufacturing techniques, for manufacturing of 304 austenitic oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) steels.
